And yes – that really is Amy’s old Mercedes on fire in our driveway. Oops.

Wow! I hope everyone is all right!
Yup – we are. This was from a few years ago. Amy showed extreme courage by getting in the car after the fire had started (smoke only), turning the car on, and backing it away from the house and the two other cars it was parked between. By the time she got out, the fire had really gotten started.
Man, if this is how parties at your place *usually* end, I'm not going to the right parties…
Maybe that wasn't courage . . .
Getting into a burning car?
Hah! Only the parties in my mind.
Irrational courage!
Oy. You need help. I re-captioned it: http://cheezburger.com/view.aspx?ciid=6654484 now it fits better on fail blog. (Sheesh, adults these days…)

So what's the real story? What caused the fire in the first place?

Fuel injector leak.
What a loss ! Hope that insurance contract was in order.
That’s a longer and very frustrating story that has a happy ending nine months later.
WOW! =O How did that manage to catch fire?
It turns out it was a fuel injector leak. Pretty scary stuff.
