Yup – the social web dynamics are really fascinating. Mark Pincus touches on this some more in his interview on Charlie Rose last night - <a href="http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/12/30/zynga-ceo-mark-pincus-on-charlie-rose/
http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/12/30/zynga-ceo-ma... />

Brad - neat post! It dovetails together nicely with Fred Wilsons post on the evolution of the social web today ( http://bit.ly/5po6sO). It's amazing all of the communities being built around niche audiences to centralize information and build places for like minded people to share information.
I am heading out to Steamboat in the March with the boys, this site will no doubt get us fired up.

Have a wonderful New Year.

Brad - thanks for the mention! To clarify, Resort Technology Partners is the company that created the RealSki iPhone app. Many of the folks at RTP came from Vail Resorts, but they are independent now. I just downloaded the Vail augmented reality trail map and will put it to the test on Thursday AFTERNOON (Thursday morning is reserved for powder, as there are no friends or augmented reality apps to slow you down on a powder morning:-)
