I’m completely laughing my ass off after watching Samantha Bee’s Future Shock – Roombas  of Doom segment on Comedy Central.

Totally hilarious.  My fraternity brother, co-founder, and CEO of iRobot – Colin Angle – holds his own nicely.  iRobot was one of those investments that will always be in my “I wish I’d done that” category as I remember sitting with Colin in my house in Eldorado Springs talking about the upcoming VC round he was contemplating.  Oh well.

    Sadly, iRobot has apparently canceled their ConnectR web controlled Roomba project, which bodes poorly for the "take over the world" project. Perhaps Brad can use his influence with Colin to convince iRobot to reconsider?

    I still can't believe we're not allowed to have robots that shoot stupid children? I mean hello, culling the herd, not a bad thing :)

    I gotta hand it to Colin and that Scientist guy, it'd be hard to talk seriously to someone looking for a robots genitals.

    Since 28% (11/39) of iRobot's patents reference some of my patents, if the Doombas try to take over the world, perhaps they will be kind enough not to shoot in the same direction where I am standing.

    At any rate, I hope they revive the ConnectR. It would be a great platform for future wireless control applications.

    iRobot is trying to bring all futuristic robot as soon as possible…Future robot have AI integrated with them they can think , they can act,they can do each everything a human being can do. But it will take time..but iRobot wants to do it as soon as possible..
