I have to agree with Alex Iskold. You are a great inspiration to me too. Thank you for sharing your truly amazing ride with all of us faithful readers. I started reading your blog for your technical/venture capital/investor/entrepreneur viewpoints but I must say that the "personal life experience" blog entries are the ones that have left a lasting impression on me personally. You have a point of view that is truly independent, unique and of course very inspirational. Please keep up the great work.

Brad - funny I wrote a post on my blog today that while not exactly on point to yours, is I think tangential. I think it is time our generation step up in the tradition of your Dad's generation and his parents before him. I do think the current set of events presents those of our generation with a chance to "ride" and show that the lessons learned from our parents and grandparents where not wasted.
