Of course, we're all dying eventually, but the loss of a growth mindset accelerates the process. Another way I've heard this put is that, "A man without a dream is dead. He's just not buried yet." Hope can be a delicate thing, though. I think that's why it's so important to encourage your friend in their dreams. Zig Ziglar says that you should share your "give up" goals with everyone (they will point out your failures) but you should share your "go up" goals only with close, positive friends... people that you know are on your side. They can be trusted with that most precious commodity... hope. This is so true. Of course, we're all dying eventually, but the loss of a growth mindset accelerates the process. I'm betting as we look back years from now this will go down as one of the greatest entrepeneurial accomplishments of our time.
