Well finally, a VC who actually dresses appropriately!
I gotta show you my knife and sword collection. I grew up in Mauritania, Chad, Senegal, Cameroon, and Mali. Traveled with US AID project manager parents all over the world, and picked up one blade, local and authentic from villagers mostly, no replicas allowed, and I pretty much play with them just like you are in that photo.
The next time you are invited to a BBQ, bring the great sword and a few watermelons. Take couple swings, show how crazy you really are, and eat whats left!
