The Air looks better and it's smaller. The extra size and weight you're carting around comes from all those devices someone has crammed into your computer. As I sit here with my laptop (unnamed brand) on any given day the most I have plugged in is one usb device and the power cord. Network is wifi, I rarely use the dvd drive any more, and just don't need more than one usb device at a time, let alone four.
