96 Comments And Still Going

I was going to respond to Fred’s post We Need A New Path To Liquidity in between my elephant meeting and my rocket ship meeting but I ended up reading all the comments as well as a bunch of the linked blogs (via TechMeme.)  As a result I’ve run out of time.  The comments are fascinating, as are some of the linked blogs.  Well worth a deep read.

Brad, thanks for referring Fred's post to me, first. Lot of back and forth between he and I, and a positive overall discussion.

I also wanted to applaud your investment into Gnip. The more I surf/blog/anything these days, the more I experience the bleeding need for that service, as I understand it.

Awesome – glad you got engaged in Fred's discussion. And thanks on Gnip – we have our first board meeting tomorrow and I am very psyched about the investment.

I've been following Fred's post since it went up; it's a fascinating read as are the comments pouring in. You no doubt will get to it, but on the chance you are looking to prioritize your reading today, Daniel Primack's comments on PE Week Wire are some of the best I've read.
