Heathrow Travel Hell

It looks like Chaos Reigns a Second day at HeathrowThe spiffy new Terminal Five has some "glitches."  Who said modernization was easy?

For folks in Colorado (DIA), it is deja vu all over again.

DIA is a dream compared to LHR. Been through there 8 times in past year.

Yeah, but when DIA first opened in 1996 it was a total disaster. A big part of the disaster was the baggage system which never worked and eventually DIA had to pay to have it ripped out.

DIA in 2008 is much better. Almost all of the travel friction is either TSA nonsense or United incompetence.

Wow. My music theory professor is in London this weekend presenting a paper… it will be interesting to hear if it affected him.

Funny that the title of the British Airways' newsletter, announcing the new terminal was “Heathrow Terminal 5 is now open…feel calm again” :D
    I guess not!
