		<description>i don&#039;t remember the trail that led me to this website...however, I remember as a senior at NYU in 1999, I worked at a startup internet company and I wanted Flatiron to consider our business.  It was all about Starmedia back then for them.  we never did hear from them, but I think one of them spoke to our class at NYU that spring.  havent thought of them since those years.  true story.   </description>

		<description>hi andrew - sorry that you had a bad experience with Flatiron. 1999 wasn&#039;t a great time for Flatiron in hindsight. we made a lot of money that year but mostly screwed up a bunch of things. the great thing about life is you often get a second chance. for me, USV is that second chance. we aren&#039;t perfect either, but i think we are doing it better and making less mistakes. &lt;br /&gt;
