If you think Outlook sucks, try Lotus Notes, to which I've recently had to switch.

If you think Outlook UI is frustrating, try using Business Contact Manager and integrating MSFT Office Accounting - that could at least doubles the burden on your machine, not to mention a few calls to MSFT support just to get them to talk to one another.

And if you are a REAL glutton for punishment, buy a new machine and try migrating this data - your Outlook files, your BCM files, your SQL data and your MOA data. First spend 1/2 the day on the MSFT site searching for "how to", then when you are near your limit of frustration, google this request and read the depth of technical need required just to move what is essentially customer data. When you make the mistake of doing something in the incorrect order, CONGRATS - you now have to reinstall everything! Probably best to start reloading Windows, as there are SQL files buried that are causing the reinstall problems, that you will most likely never find.

After that, you will probably be ready to get your MCSE just to use Office. Suddenly web 2.0 doesn't look so bad...

On the PC side, Eudora really is that good, although it's hard to get the complete version with unbelievably fast lookups.

I stopped reading at number 41 when he said he had to google to figure out how to print. I didn't see anything up to that point where I could relate - either the problem wasn't in Outlook 2007, or I hadn't noticed it, or in fact didn't see the problems he saw. Seems to me that Outlook just keeps getting better with every revision.

I agree Outlook sucks, but right now everything else blows. Tried Thunderbird....what a disaster. I'd love to get rid of Outlook, but the alternatives right now seem worse.

Ouch!
I can't argue with any of these, although many aren't near and dear.

What's remarkable to me is that it's still the best out there. What is so hard about this?
