The internet, or microsoft is not the problem...the phone in your house could be the perfect voting machine, with touchtone automated entries. How many calls has the phone company missed? Low cost monitors to create and monitor a data base and post verify vote information that could be viewed online, minus personal details, in real time. the media could participate and use the information.....Please let Colorado be the first state in the union to have a completely open, and fair election. A great example for the whole world to see. All Questions and suggestions should be posted here. I will need plenty of help in all counties for total coverage. You can donate to the same address. Unless of course secret voting is preferred.

I can't speak for others, but we're focused on information, regardless of whether it's on the client or server. Some of those things beg to be aggregated at an organizational level, while others are mainly just relevant to individual communications. There's no question that there's a ton of opportunity to extract lots of meaningful relationship and context information for organizations across the email infrastructure. Microsoft has explored this a bit with Knowledge Network for Sharepoint, check that out. I'm sure they will be a player in this space, but as long as they take a Microsoft-centric approach to the solution, there will be a lot of opportunity for others to innovate. More on the topic here: http://www.emaildashboard.com/2007/11/inbox-20---...
