They are definitely lagging on the adoption curve but there's no denying that someday they will adopt the technologies that are currently in the private sector. Good write up, Brad. As someone living outside the Valley, it frustrates me to no end when Valley snobbery sneaks into web entrepreneurship. I'm a little hesitant about letting Gov't leak into the conversation, mostly because I've worked in government and I don't think the culture is anywhere near being able to adopt anytime soon.
