I Support ??? Dennis Kucinich?

Amy started out my Sunday morning with the Select A Candidate Quiz from Minnesota Public Radio.  I’ll leave it to her to decide whether or not to say who she selected (but it was a surprise to me).  So – I figured I’d take it also.

Given that I don’t know who Dennis Kucinich is, I was perplexed by how strongly I matched him.  Now that I’ve read his story, I get it.  My top five were Kucinich, Richardson, Gravel, Dodd, and Edwards.  Clinton and Obama were tied for #6 – I disagree with them on Iraq, Immigration, Social Security, Energy, and the Death Penalty.  It’s no surprise to me that the Indians (I mean Romney, McCain, Gilmore, Huckabee, and Brownback) are in the cellar.

Go Red Sox.

The part that makes me happy is not who I line up with but rather that Tom Tancredo and I are diametrically opposed.

(oh and TypeKey logins aren’t working for comments)

I was blown away that a very liberal, democratic socialist from california matched with Rudy Giuliani. Makes we want to delve deeper into the math…(Biden #2, Hillary and Obama tied for #3).

Kudos to Amy for bringing this to your attention! That being said, there should be a warning not to take the test with your spouse in the vicinity as it will start the 2007 political war, carried over from the heated debate that began in 2000 and ended in a treaty to agree to disagree. My top five are Guiliani, Romney, Gilmore, Hunter, and Biden – which probably means that outside of CSIA as a common thread, we, Mr. Feld, will not be friends!

On another important note, I am hoping that the Go Sox cheer will subside once the World Series comes to town!!

I like that picker the best. The blind ones where you are asked about issues first are fun, but they are kind of a parlor trick. Sure, issues are important, but you are also voting for someone who will make decisions about issues that aren’t even issues yet, so it’s important that we have some comfort with them as people.

    Go Rockies!

My top one was Biden. Hmmm. Problem is I differ with all my top picks on the three issues to which I assigned the most importance. Looks like I’m (we’re) screwed no matter what.

    I like Obama or Guiliani.

    Go Rockies!
