TSA and Ziploc Bags

Finally, some brilliance in the travel quart-size plastic-bag absurdity.

Baggies

At LaGuardia in the US Airways TSA checkpoint.  Thanks Wal-Mart and US Airways – you both scored points with me today for helping with this absurd restriction.

San Jose had complementary ziploc’s as well (courtesy of SJC) the other day. Denver TSA grilled me over a gallon sized bag I was using. Love it!

Absurd Restriction? I think not! Check with the people who foiled the fanatics who were planning to bomb ten aircraft while in flight before decrying sensible security precautions!

I recently traveled from Oakland to ABQ. I had somethings they took away: Carmex, empty hand cream, purell…cna’t remember what else. I didn’t have a ziplock bag. They said I could go back thorugh security and buy a ziplock bag from a vendor outside and then come back through! How absurd. I want to know what the ziplock bag has to do with the whole thing?

Evidently, according to our all-knowing government, placig dangerous explosioves into iploc bags renders them completely safe.
