Microsoft doesn't use their own CRM, they use Siebel. Tons of Google people don't use Google products because the philosophy there is "use the best". On on the one hand companies should be eating their own dogfood. On the other hand if they're using the best on the market they'll figure out how the best person does it and it will be on-going motivation to improve their own product. A related issue is whether big companies should eat their own dogfood.
