I’d not judge a country by the number of wars they won (or pretend to have to) but rather by the number of wars they avoid by their ability to solve a conflict instead of wiping it away with a couple of missiles

What’s amazing is that this particular googlebomb has stood up for so long. I first saw this one a couple of years ago. Indeed, the last-modified header says May 14, 2001 – I’d always thought this was in reaction to France’s anti-war stance in Iraq but it predates even 9/11, if Last-Modified reflects the actual file date.

Kind of like the old stand up routine regarding the Canadian Air Force…shouldn’t it be called more the Canadian Air Suggest because they are not really going to “force” anything.

Quite funny indeed. If you do the same with “US military history”, what will pop up is what we actually think about everything related to military. This may explain some recent transatlantic discrepancies on how to manage world’s affairs.
