Excellent reference. Thank you. I understand it is difficult to conceive the total devastation without actually visiting New Orleans, but for those of us who are more familiar with Boston than New Orleans, this helps put the impact in perspective.

New Orleans Flooding in Context: North End to Framingham (!?!!)

Here’s an excellent map overly app that superimposes the flooding in New Orleans over a map of metro Boston. I’ve often said ‘context is king’ but this one really blew me away.

I imagine that reality would be very different though since the topography isn’t the same. The devastation would still be bad nonetheless.
