My father remembers going and hanging out with his cousins at the circus. When I first saw Kenneth Feld's picture I couldn't believe how much my father looks like him. What I'm trying to find out is the history of the Feld family,I'm very much interested if anyone has any information or pictures.
iRobot and The Future Of Cleaning

iRobot will go down in my history as one of those companies I was too stupid to invest in.

Amy said to me - no less than 5 minutes ago - "Do you know Tom Evslin?" She was reading Fred's blog and linked through to you and then to the Roomba stuff. Hysterical.

I hope you are well. And yes - the Roomba Scheduler - due out in a few months (I tried to get a beta one from Colin but they aren't ready yet) will be computer controlled (set up a schedule - it vacuums whenever you program it to). Awesome stuff.

If you need any more virtual walls, I've got 4 I don't need .

Now Brad, claiming that my toy is obsolete compared to yours are fighting words. My Roomba can dock also when it is running out of power - if it is close enough to the docking station to figure out where it is. Otherwise it fades in sometimes obscure places.

What we need is for the next generation Roomba to LEAVE the docking station once it has charged up and get back to work. I bet yours doesn't do that either.

You do have me beat, though, with Roombas for the up and downstairs. I assume you have docks in both places.

I'll just have to get my robomop before you do.

Tom

I bought one for my parents last Christmas. They love it, and I felt like I was able to help out around the house from far away. Roomba!
