		<description>Brad,

Great to see you Monday night at the $50K. Beginning with 1999&#039;s winner Molecularware (software of genomics research), every $50K winner since has been either a bio- or medical- technology company. That&#039;s 7 years! Looking backwards, it seems that the $50K was a leading indicator for Lifescience VC investing.

<description>So, what do you think the near term future of biomedical VC funding? Of all of the VCs that are blogging regularly (that I am aware of), everybody seems to be talking about IT, but nobody is talking of bioscience or of bioscience opportunities. This could mean a number of possibilities that could be elaborated on I suppose, but I am wondering what your perspective is.
