<description>We are a startup software company and I am looking to see if someone is willing to share their revenue recognition policy with me.

<description>Is there anyone out there that is willing to share their (neutralized) revenue recognition policy with me.

We are a start-up company and I am grinding through the PWC Guide to Software Revenue Recognition, which is terrific. However, seeing a live policy would be most helpful. Moreover, I would like to have a 90% solution before I go to our auditors to keep down our costs.

I would be glad to share insights as well.

Thank you!

Dennis McFadden

<description>As a recovering sales executive, I love this! Having clear booking and revenue recognition policies are essential to running a revenue plan. Without clear understanding of when something hits the books its near impossible to forecast and manage revenue. Clear recognition polices make clear to the organization what is required to make an opportunity whole and clean. For each company I work with to this day, discussing booking and revenue recognition policies are a staple.
