Eminem All Day Long

I’m becoming addicted to Eminem.  I had a huge breakthrough when I started thinking of it as poetry instead of music, at which point I started liking the tunes. It helped to have a little Dido tossed in for good measure. I haven’t decided yet whether or not this new addiction is a good thing.

it's a good thing

it sounds like you are listening to The Marshall Mathers LP.

that and the Eminem Show are the two best I think.

If you're liking Eminem, I'd highly recommend picking up a copy of Still I Rise from the late Tupac Shakur and the Outlawz. Really any Tupac but that is a wonderful album. R U Still Down is a nice sampling of his amazing skill also. He was a much better rapper than Eminem and he had something to say.

You can't go wrong with Jurassic 5 either.

Dude, you're an old, over-the-hill dork - listening to Eminem will not make you cool. Stop trying to be something you're not and stick to investing in technology companies.

Dear Anonymous Coward: I am comfortable with my dorkness (I actually prefer nerdiness, but it's just semantics), but I'm not sure I'm yet over the hill (I'm only 40 - give me some time please.) However, I'm also VERY clear that I'm not cool nor will anything I do in this lifetime make me cool.

I listen to Eminem too. I really like his music and sometimes I can relate to him. I listen to him when I'm either under stress or really angry. He has got talents. Long live Eminem.

Eminem is completely amazing in everything he does. People may find some offense in his lyrics, and so be it; not everyone is going to like him. But, I on the otherhand dont take all of his lyrics so seriously. He is allowed to speak his mind, its called freedom of speech.I respect everything he does. Hes real, he says what he wants and doesnt give a fuck on what anyone else has to say about it. As long as hes getting his point across, thats all that matters. If you learn to not take his lyrics so seriously and actually listen to a few good songs and read his lyrics, im most sure you`ll come to like atleast a few songs and will be able to relate. He talks about real shit. Not about getting laid and how much money he has and getting shot 87589745752 times like the rest of the rappers. I mean, thats not bad either, they are intitled to what they want to say on their records. I respect that also. But, me as a person respect Eminems music a lot more because he talks about whats real, and thats what matters to me. Because it allows me to have an oppurtunity to relate to some shit he`s rapping about. He is truly talented.
