I've been getting them for what seems like a couple weeks now in our beta CBS Marketwatch feed, too. They denote it as "Sponsor".
Guess this underscores the business model dilemma: How to provide quality information when no one really wants to pay for it.

Or to start paying for content? I don't begrudge content providers their revenue sources; targeted RSS ads have the potential to be much more relevant than other forms of advertising.
I'd be happy to see ads in the feeds that I read if that helps create a sustainable business. Right now, many sites only have excerpts in the feed because they can serve ads on their site but not in the feed. I'd much rather full entries in RSS with ads.
