FriendFeed Adds IntenseDebate and BrightKite

There is some TechStars love this morning from the gang at FriendFeed (thanks guys!)  They added two of last years TechStars class – IntenseDebate and BrightKite – during their FriendFeed Fix-it Day.  I know this was one of the often requested features from IntenseDebate users and – while it could be hacked into FriendFeed through the magic of RSS – native support is sweet (and trivial to use.)  No surprise – like most other services, I am bfeld on FriendFeed.

  • Totally awesome. Now if we can just get them to support Socialthing, we can get into some serious recursive lifestreaming.

  • Thanks for the blog love Brad. I hope you don't mind me jumping in here.

If anyone is interested in adding their IntenseDebate account to FriendFeed, please check out our latest post – http://intensedebate.com/blog . Feel free to email me with any questions at support@intensedebate.com

  • Very cool plugin man. Just playing around with it now

  • Someone quick … fill me in … What's Intense Debate ? Where's Louis?

  • charlie – never fear – intense debate is a comment replacement system like Disqus. They are both great.

  • What Micah said.

  • I've got some BrightKite invites if someone needs one.

  • Joe

I haven't seen Intense Debate on any site or seen it mentioned here, suppose I will see it trickling through once word gets about!

  • This site: http://www.dumblittleman.com/ uses IntenseDebate. That's where I learnt the existence of IntenseDebate a few days ago. It's somewhat similar to Disqus. I hope someone will do a comparison between Disqus and IntenseDebate.

  • “Where's Louis?” CRYING laughing, Charlie.

  • I use Intense Debate on my site…the reason you didn't see it mentioned much on FF is because Disqus was the star here..it was the only blog commenting system that worked here. Do a google search for Intense Debate + Disqus and you'll see there's been quite a bit of talk about their pros and cons. http://www.google.com/search?q=intense+debate+%2B
